Cosmos

Capturing the journey of flying particles through chalk drawings I wish to show cosmology of outer space in relation to our own space. How the forms, colour, texture, depth and movement, may transmit feelings and emotions and enhance the concept of micro versus cosmic, close versus remote. My intention is to draw in and intrigue the audience to see more closely the beauty of what is above us, as well as around us. Transferring these findings to an installation piece, consisting of two videos projected on separate walls, I venture to produce feelings and emotions of yin and yang and perception of our own vital space that surrounds each of us.

Through my photographic series I aspire to convey the beauty of nature emphasizing the findings of astronomy on earth and connecting them through a child’s game of ‘Chinese whispers’.
